Idle Fees
Idle Fees (Set by Site Owner)
To keep chargers available for everyone, some locations apply Idle Fees when a vehicle remains parked after charging has finished.
Who sets them: Idle Fees are set by the charger’s owner or operator, not by VoltiE. Rates and rules can vary by site.
How they work: After a grace period once charging ends (ten to fifteen minutes), a per minute fee begins until the vehicle is unplugged or moved.
Where you will see them: Fees, grace periods, and any daily caps appear in the VoltiE app or QR checkout screen before your session begins.
Why they exist: Idle Fees encourage turnover so chargers stay available and reduce queuing.
Disputes and support: Contact the site or email support@voltie.us for assistance.
“Idle Fee: 0.35 dollars per minute begins ten minutes after charge completion; maximum 25 dollars per twenty four hours.”
